it's just an IQ test... no need to study...

I passed the technical interview :nurse: actually 6 of us were interviewed but I'm the only one in my batch who got in. Thank you to all the tips you've given, It's a huge help:bow:!!!

Now the HR told me to wait for their text for the schedule of my IQ test and medical. Do you have any idea how long do I need to wait:confused:? Had my technical interview last Sept. 30. If any of you guys with same date of technical interview and got a massage at any time this following weeks to come please post your updates here. Thank you again :redpinkhe!!!

hi quickwitted, there will 2 interviewers plus 5 or 6 of you applicants.

you will be asked I think 10 questions (done in rotation) you will be asked situational questions, opinion based amd knowledge based. In my case our batch was asked about APGAR, GCS, Laparotomy, Ventilator, Defibrilator, Research, Management, how to handle patients in Presidential suits, divorce. listen carefully to the questions because the question itself gives you a hint on what answer they are after.

Good communication skill is very important. be straight to the point!!!

well, goodluck!!! :nurse:

at long last! ma'am gianna called me a while ago.. my training will start on Oct.20. :yeah:

Hi raine... Im almost scheduled for a technical interview a few months from now. Would it be much better to answer in the simpliest possible way (more of a layman's term)

to incubus: congrats! after your training, help us get in.. hehe

Hi! I'm a newbie here! please help, I'm scheduled for training on Oct. 20. I know this may sound stupid but what uniform should i wear when i go to training? My duty uniform doesn't fit me anymore. I only have my scrub suits and my white uniform that i wear during class. Do I need to wear my white stockings? and What's it like during training? Thank you very much!:heartbeat:bow::heartbeat:bow:

not yet. i had a problem with my medicals so i was delayed submitting my papers. i received my "fit to train" clearance last september 17 so i don't know when will my turn be:cry:...i just hope it would be sooner coz it is really depressing not knowing if you really got in or what. i believe that i am officially in ONCE they tell me my schedule. anyway goodluck!!! i may have some questions once you train and i hope you keep in touch with us

You have to wear your white uniform which you used to wear for classes and white socks/stockings with white shoes. Come well-groomed and well-behaved.

As for training, its comprised of didactic lectures and skills lab training. I can't disclose the content because I think that would violate privacy clauses in the SLMC-BGC agreement. Training has been proceeding very well. The lecturers are unit managers and are highly competent. Another thing I ought to mention is that you ought to establish a good sense of camaraderie and fellowship amongst your batchmates. Training will be one of the most enjoyable experiences of your stay at SLMC if you do so. :) I'm thankful that my batch and I get along just fine.

Good luck!
