Anyone applied/participated/interviewed for the VALOR program?

I' am in the process of applying for the VA VALOR program. Just wondering if there are any tips on what to include in my cover letter, what the interview is like, and anything that would increase my chances of getting accepted. Thanks for your help!!

I just found out about this program today and I'm really looking forward to applying! I'm nervous because there's 170ish people in my program and only 4 positions! Im a great interviewer but I'm worried about my 3.75 gpa and the fact I don't have a veteran background I'm hoping I'm not already eliminated.
