Have you taken the PAX exam yet? How was the test? I was just curious on about how many people have applied for the program. Let me know because it would be good to hear from others about this journey. Thanks.

Do anyone know the dress code for orientation? Just curious I didn't want to over dress or under dress. Anything that we need to bring with us? Thanks.

Just wanted to give an update on me...I was accepted in the program! I am so happy! Now the real work will start in January. Thanks to all of you that encouraged me while I was waiting. Hope to see y'all in the spring. We have alot of things to purchase by the first day of class.

Hi guys I so wish you the best. Unfortunately year 2 of my acceptance and I just can't seem to get the schedule in order, I hope my seat benefited someone. My husband is opening a new office, and with 3 kids I couldn't see how to swing our demanding schedule. But in due time! I will reapply for the next round and I'm sure I'll be accepted again. I wish you all the best this coming semester, and hope to encounter you guys as you prepare for graduation. Work hard, listen, and take every opportunity to learn and perfect your craft. I'll see you guys in 2018! FutureLVN I'm so happy that you were accepted!

Congrats Lady!!!!!

Hello, just saw this thread update and wanted to congratulate you all for getting in. I am going to attend the advisement sessions for the 2017/18 admissions and wanted to know if any of you could tell me about the PAX test? Was it close to the study guide? Was it computerized or on paper? When did you get your scores? Where you allowed to use a calculator? If not were you given scratch paper? I'm so excited to go to the advisement but was hoping to get some more info here. :)

Hello charmily. Happy to hear that you will be going to the 2017 advisement. The test was not not too hard and the study guide really is helpful. The test is computerized and on the computer there is a calculator to use. They supply you with scratch paper for math. You get your score within 4 hoursafter taking the test. What school are you applying to?

hello, I'm working on the NCTC application process and plan to go for the online LVN program starting January 2018. I have just ordered my study guide and will start studying for the PAX test that will be scheduled in June or July. Outside of the clinical's that must be done every saturday and sunday, is everything else actually online? I have a full time job and it will be difficult to take off for school during working hours.

Hello tperkins:-) The program actually starts on next week so I am not quite sure what is all going to happen. Sorry I can not help with this question. Check back after next Saturday and I can help you since I will have more info.

I am also applying for the 2018 spring program I am so excited. Not looking forward to driving 3 hours on the weekends but hey it let's me keep working.

Morgieb there is no science on the test just reading and math? How strange

Hello!

I am interested in applying for the LVN program in Corinth. I was accepted into Navarro College's LVN program last fall, but gave up my seat due to finances. I have been saving and am ready to start this fall. What I would like to know is if the A&P course is required. I have taken A&P 1 and 2 but they are through DCCCD [scit 1407&1408] I am certain they will not transfer.

Hi there - how is the program going??
