Hi everyone,
I'm new to the board, but have been using the site as a resource ever since deciding on a career in nursing. Hopefully my first question is an easy one to answer. :)
Did any of you apply to both accelerated BSN and MSN programs at the same school at once? If so, which schools and did it require to completely separate applications with different deadlines? My ultimate goal is to get my MSN, but I figured if I can't get into the direct entry programs, I may have a better chance at their ABSN program instead as a stepping stone to the eventual MSN.
I'm just wondering if schools look down upon those that apply to more than one program, or if they understand a prospective student increasing his or her chances of getting admitted. I'm also wondering if the schools treat your applications any different knowing that you're applying to both programs as opposed to just one.
Maybe I'm overthinking this.
Any advice or info you all have would be great! Thanks in advance!
