Anyone accepted to Oakton Community College Spring 2015 ADN program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I was accepted to the spring semester a couple weeks ago and I am trying to connect with other students that might have been accepted. Also what should I expect my first semester in NURS:nurse: 103 AND 104. Any help from previous or current students would be great. I haven't seen a new thread in a while so I wanted to start one.

Hi, I'm trying to get in for fall 2015 and the counsler said i have big chances, and I would really appreciate if you can tell me what books would i need so that i can buy them online, or If you later sell them, i can buy them from you. Good luck with your classes. Keep me posted on how the classes are :)

What are your grades in your pre req ? have you taken all your pre reqs i would suggest you take them all before getting in the program I do not know anything about books yet until i got to orientation then I can update you. I would also suggest you take nursing informatics too to knock at as many classes as possible. Good luck and I hope to see you in the program.

Yes i have all my general classes, my only classes remaining to take are the nursing, and my grades are most of them A's and few B's. I would take the Nursing info class ahead of time, but if i don't get in i don't want to have extra classes, b/c i already have like 75 credits, and i just had a baby, so i don't have a babysitter yet. Thank you for responding to me, and i hope you can let me know info about books and classes once you'll find out. Good luck :)

Hey there! Yes, I have also been accepted to the Spring 2015 ADN program. I believe we'll be having our orientation in a few days. I'm so stoked for this. Have you bought your books yet?

Hey nice to meet you yes our orientation is next Monday I am excited and nervous at the same time, because we are still getting tested on our nursing skills as well. Yes I purchased my books for Nursing 103 around Christmas and they just arrived today. What about you?

Hy, I know I might not be on the same topic you guys are talking about, but I am a student at oakton and I need to take the can training program, and oakton offers it only during the weekdays, can anyone suggest me a place where I can do the CNA course in order for oakton to accept it? I need an over the weekend class. I am desperate because I want to apply for the nursing program for spring 2016 and I need to have the CNA taken as soon as possible. can anyone help me?
