Anybody work for UnitedHealth or McKesson?

Published

Just curious if anyone out there works for either company. I have an interview with UnitedHealth tomorrow and have read some good and some bad reviews online about working for the company. Also I am very interested in working for McKesson. I have applied but never hear anything from them and the jobs I applied for are still open. Any hints on how to get a job with them?

Just wondering if you got the job at united health care. I see postings all the time and am thinking of applying.

I work for United health, Optum Nurseline. I have been there since November. So far, so good. Much less stressful than my previous position. Good support. If you like working independantly and need a break from the hospital environment, this might be for you. If you have any questions, I would be glad to help.

Are you able to work from home?

Yes, I will be able to work from home after 90 days on site and demonstrating the skills to work totally independantly. That is one of the things that was so appealing to me. I think I will love that!

Where is the 90 day "on site" training taking place? Could you share with me the salary range?

The salary range is in the 50s. On site would be the call center. There are several located in the US. Check with the United Healthcare website to see if there are any openings near you. You do have to commute to the site for 3 months.
