Anybody had a problem with World Education Services?

I am an LVN trying to get my ASN with Excelsior, had my foreign school college credits sent for evaluation with WES. I was asked to submit another copy of the transcript because it wasn't legible. I called my school and the registrar said it is legible. Anyway, so I had to resend another copy. I got another email a few days after telling me that my evaluation is on hold because they need a syllabus of my college education. It is very frustrating because it is time consuming and they could have informed me earlier on that it is necessary. I had my my transcript evaluated by a different agency for NCLEX and they did not look for a syllabus. It seems like there is always a reason for delay. I also requested them last week to provide a sealed copy to excelsior when the evaluation is done and at that time they are still working on it. I received an email last week that I have to mail them back the attachment and provide 47 dollars for that extra service, until then they would be holding the processing of my evaluation. I don't get it why it had to be held. My common sense tells me that if I were the evaluating agency, I could continue working on the evaluation since the service has been paid already and whatever additional request regardless of a pending fee can follow up. I have read some terrible review about the agency and it's just bad that I didn't browse before I made business with them.

yes - they are a horrible company to deal with - I wish I had looked at the BBB rating before I handed them my $170 - they have an F rating, the lowest you can get with lots of complaints about them.

They do not answer the phone or your email, they are incredibly slow to get your evaluations done, and they are terribly picky about your documents - and the shocker - THEY DON"T GIVE REFUNDS, this is in the small print of their hateful to navigate website, even if they don't get your evaluation done properly they won't refund your money.
