Hi Maelee,

You may want to post your question in the Home Health Nursing or General Nursing Discussion forums.

We are students in this forum so most of us (barring a few LPN's) have no nursing experience.

I gather from your profile that you are not an RN nor an LPN/LVN therefore we are not (at least in the USA) talking about being a private nurse. Instead we are talking about a private personal aide. There is a big difference.

Unless you have a license as a Nurse in the USA you cannot legally call yourself a nurse.

If you are talking about a private personal care aide and you have worked as an aide it is unlikly that you will be bored. The difference between working one on one and with a group (as in a facility) is wonderful.

You are less stressed and have time to devote to your one client. It is usually a more relaxed atmosphere and fulfilling. The pace is slower but seldom boring.
