Published

I am looking for someone who is doing the college network program in middle TN to study with. I have just started and I can not get into at all. I am a social learner. I became a nurse abut 9 months ago and I want to go on for my Rn , but I am starting to think I have just bought $10,000 worth of books. Nothing in these darn study guides jumps out at me.

please help

sounds like you are in the same situation i was in a few years ago. if you know that you need to be around others to learn, then a traditional program will probably be better. i had already bought thousands of dollars worth of college network books when i finally went to a lpn-rn program at my local comm college. a friend of mine was in the same situation, when she found out the CN was not for her, she badgered them so much she got out of her contract and went to the same program i did. i didn't even try to get my money back, i just chalked it up as a very expensive life lesson.

I'm kind of the opposite. I'm an introverted type and self study was right up my alley.

I'm in Smithville, TN, and I know several girls who are in the same boat you're in. They wanted to go through Excelsior but didn't feel comfortable doing it alone. I tried to tell them the tests aren't that bad, but I can't get them to take that first step and sign up for a test.

Now, they are talking about going through a traditional program.
