is anybody know about the Long Island College hospital School of Nursing reputaion?

I'm waiting to take the NLN pre-entrance exam. How was the test for you?

I read in a few old posts (which I can't find anymore) that the school is really good, one student said the professors are great and its all worth while. And I've only heard good things about it so far, and there are no pre-requisites courses, the school is 122 years old. My sister graduated from the school less than a year ago and says the school is good. Lets just hope we're not deceived :chuckle I hope I get in ._. Do you know what the passing grade is for the NLN pre-entrance exam? Good luck ^_^

the test is good for me, i got good score in maths and science, but verbal is ok because english is Second lang. i also finished most of all pre-requisite course. The english is really hard for me. so well prepare all vocub. there is 2 section for words and 1 section for paragraphs. For maths and science no prob. i have good commands over maths, science. A&P i study so over all god. i got the 116 composite. my interview is good and strogy recommaded by committe for admission. so now i am waiting for letter of admission.

You had to take prerequisite courses for this school? Because they say you don't need them there :confused:

I'm graduating from there in a few weeks and yes, you do need pre-reqs, but you can take them whilst taking your nursing courses. Other than the fact that administration screws up all the time, the school is great!! Good Luck.
