I got in to Ohlone but I'm not sure I'm going to accept. I can't believe that I pulled #1 in the lottery. We need to let them know by Monday (definitely not enough time). I also got in to Chabot but I like Ohlone better. I'm trying to decide if I want to go for 2 years at Ohlone and get an ADN, or go to Samuel Merrit's ABSN program for 1 year and get a BSN. Oh decisions. . . what should I do?
Congrats T-gal! That is great. I know it wasn't your first choice, but none of that matters when you get that acceptance letter! Things will all work out just right.
I didn't apply there and am still waiting word from 2 schools and on 2 numbered waitlists (prob in Spring 09) The wait is excruciating and gets worse everyday.
Enjoy!!
No, I decided to go to Samuel Merritt's ABSN program. It was a hard decision because I really like Ohlone, but I just want to get this school stuff over and done with. That was one of the reasons that I chose SMC.
I have a friend that will be going to Ohlone in the fall and she's really excited. You guys will have a great class. Janet (the counselor) is really a nice lady and will be a lot of help.
Good luck!!

Thanks! Congratulations on getting accepted at SMC! Yes, I agree with you, Janet (counselor) is very helpful and a pleasant lady to ask for class advice. I can't wait to start in September. I'm looking forward for orientation. Congratulations to your friend who I will meet eventually when we start the program.

YAY!! I just got accepted to Ohlone College this Fall 2008. I can't wait to start the program, and also a bit anxious.
Anybody here going there?
