Anybody ever heard of Northwestern College for Nursing?? any advice?

Hi I was just curious has anybody heard of Northwestern college in Bridgeview and any advice? Is that the same as the Business school and what is it's reputation as a nursing school? Anybody currently a student there in the nursing program? how is the program? how are the teachers? I heard that the program is not accredited that the school is but not the nursing program...so what does that mean? And when will it be accredited? Is it worth going there or are we taking a gamble? just curious. Am also looking into other schools but wanted to weight all my options out:) Thank u!

I haven't heard too much about their nursing program. They are the same school that has business courses also. I had a friend who took up phlebotomy and couldn't find a job after wards. She did tell me that their tuition was high, and that she had multiple loans taken out without her permission.I do know that it is listed as one of Illinois accredited programs on the website. Northwestern website doesn't tell you too much about the program like most other schools do, like tuition and graduation rate, etc. I would contact them to see if they can provide you some more info. I would keep looking for a well known nursing program, there are more than 10 I think, it's just a matter of looking them up and seeing what their reputation is. Good Luck on your search!
