Any UAB NP graduates?

I am entering my last semester at UAB. My question is for those of you who have graduated how long did it take for the school to send all of your information for you to be able to take your certification exam? Also, how soon did you look for a job? I thought I needed to wait at least until I graduate before I apply anywhere with the start date pending certification. Any advice for this newbie would be much appreciated!
