Hi there,
Are there any U.K. nurses in the U.S. who were lacking any clinical and/or theory hours to be licensed (in the U.S.) and actually went to an accredited college (in the U.S.) to make up these hours?
If so, how long did it take you and was it expensive?

Hey I'm looking for the answer to this too. I'm currently working towards my Dip HE qualification which will result in me being a UK registered Adult RN, but I want to work in North Carolina when I qualify. Visa won't be a problem as I'll be going over on a spousal visa but I'm worrying about how I will make up the necessary hours in paeds, obstetrics & psych to take the nclex-rn.
Can anyone help?

If you are still at university it sometimes pays to have a word with them and try to get something sorted whilst still in school
