That is, if Dallas is not your home campus. My degree plan has me taking advanced Patho and Assessment together in order to stay on track and graduate when I had originally planned. However, if I can take the Assessment class in the summer in Dallas, then I can take it on its own and still keep on track. I'm in the Denton campus, which only offers the class in the spring. I'm trying to figure out the likelihood of me getting the chance to take it out of Denton. My advisor suggests that the chances are slim, however, I checked the last summer sessions and looks like there were at least 3 slots in each class offered that were vacant.
Alternatively...has anyone taken advanced patho and advanced assessment together? If so how was it? Any tips?
Bump anyone?

I'm at the Houston campus and completed adv assessment this December. It is only offered in the fall here as well. I took it with health policy and promotion. I managed to get A's in both but I literally felt like I was losing my mind the entire semester. The patho class I took was online and I think is pretty manageable if you are not working. I can tell you that you will definitely be stressed if you are working even 2 days a week while taking assessment and patho. Would you commute to Dallas every week for the assessment class this summer?
Yes, I Would commute to Dallas, but that would only be about a 30 minute drive. I'm leaning more and more towards taking Patho with Research. I know that this will also be a pretty grueling combination, but I think it may be a little bit better than Assessment and Patho together. I will try to shoot for Assessment in Dallas in the summer. If I don't make it into that class then I will just have to wait a year. I feel like this combination gives me a better chance at success.
Thanks so much for responding!
