I found an online question study bank for the NCLEX before I took mine in '08. That helped me a lot. I also studied my nursing school books for weeks. When you go in to take the test, wear comfy clothes, eat a good breakfast & read each test question carefully. A lot of the stuff will come back to you. When I took my NCLEX exam, there were some things on there that I hadn't studied for. But I just read those questions carefully and "weeded" out the wrong answers until I seen the answer that fit the question best. My test shut off at 75 questions and I just knew I'd failed. But I didn't! :) I passed the first time! I'm sure you'll do well too. Just study, get lots of sleep before the test & try to stay calm... Good luck!
I can definitely relate. 10 days before my exam, I felt unprepared, anxious, nervous...totally not ready. Instead of dwelling on the negative, I shifted my focus and continued answering questions and understanding why I chose the incorrect answers. Reviewed my handwritten notes, researched items that I've forgotten.
Focus on the positive. You can do this! Good luck to you!
