I am applying for the scholarship, they ask me to write sth about community service I did, actually I did nothing according to my memory.
They also ask me to write one paragraph about my plan to any further community service in the following month.
Any suggestions, please.:trout:

Beanny, do you volunteer at a church? Sometimes some of these activities can be considered community service.
Also, communty service hours are required of the nursing students at our school each semester. Some of us went down to the Senior Center and took B/P's for an hour 2 days a month. It's good practice and we get credit for it.

I did some volunteer activities in my school, but has nothing to do with my major.

I did volunteer at a church, but that was long time ago, and is not the community I lived now.:uhoh21: Is that still count?
Our school doesn't have community service requirement, I guess that b/z we are only ADN.
which ever volunteer activities you have done are all significant (in my opinion)
and that includes in any community
if you want to do some volunteer activities you could check at a local hospital, or seniors facility, or childcare, volunteer reading groups with children at a school, a women's centre, various associations (schizophrenia, lung, cancer, etc)

Thank you so much, GingerSue, those are really good tips.:trout:
