Currently having interviews for Supervisor positions within Carolinas rehab (part of Carolinas Healthcare system) and waiting for date for 3rd round of interviews with Nursing Director and ward administrator. The position is on acute stroke/gen med rehab ward (stand alone hospital approx 8 miles from main hospital, hospitalist on site -admit pts as soon as 2 days after stroke and average LOS is 7-10 days)
Currently they have 2 supervisors both on days, but originally their job titles were ANMs. They have changed the titles systemwide and plan on having total 6 supervisors on the 40 bed ward by next Spring.
Looking on INDEED seems ANMs have higher pay rate than clinical nurse supervisors.
The job duties/responsibilities for both job titles (some of the hospitals that are only managed by CHS still have ANM positions advertised) are the same- 70% management,30% clinical is what the manager told me at first interview.
The positions require 3 yrs exp in acute care (although I have 20 plus), a BSN and previous supervisory/leadership experience. I have 6 yrs stroke (research, practitioner and educator), 10yrs ICU(inc neuro) , anticoag specialist nurse exp.
I haven't worked in the US before-through no fault of my own.
What hrly rate should I be looking for?
Thanks!
