Any 2017 PRAIRIE STATE COLLEGE HOPEFULS?

Hi, I am really worried about the point system to get into PrairieStateCollege nursing program. Is anyone else out there applying for this years nursing entry? Have you guys heard of the lowest or maybe highest points that you need to get in? Thank you & goodluck to you all.

I just really wish they could have told us our rank. That way i would have some insight on what I was going up against. Doing the math...the most points you can possibly have is i think i calculated 177. Thats all As and 100 on the Hesi. So im thinking 177 to 142 isnt that much of a gap, especially if it was only 250 applicants. I would assume at least 20 did not get 70 on the Hesi. I dont know but it just does not sit well with me not knowing my rank. Hypothetically speaking, if some people decide not to attend once they have been accepted...who is runner up? Should i still be hopeful? Its just mind boggling.

I am also in district and haven't received anything. I calculated the total points that one could receive to be 201. I went off of the sheet that we got that told us our points.

I live in chicago heights and my letter was mailed off on May 2nd and I got it today.I say still be hopeful because I had a friend that didn't get in initially but they mailed her a letter 2 weeks before the program started because someone didn't take their seat and she was next up. Maybe you can call Nicole and ask her what's your ranking score? There is still hope!

Hello everyone I received my letter today and unfortunately I did not get in I had hesi score of 83% I am an indistrict student so I had five extra points added to this total I believe with my classes should have been about 142 points.

This is so crazy because old forums from years ago states that people got in with hesi scores around 75 and low points as 105...I guess in 2017 people came prepared!

No matter what the results are, hopefully I get a letter today. I am tired of waiting and driving myself crazy.
