Any one work at or know the LAMMC

Hi All

I am a UK nurse about to make the move to LA, I have a job lined up at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Medical Centre. I am really looking forward to the new challenges ahead but would like to know a little more about the hospital I am to work at, I have been on their web site but it has limmited info. I have spoken to the nursing officer but naturally she paints only a very positive picture. I would just like some real info, (I'm sure you know what I mean). If any one could offer any info I Would be greatful for any responce. :nurse:

Yes I work for LAMMC in Los Angeles. Am not sure whether you are already on board, since you have posted this awhile ago.

Its part of Pacific Health Corporation, a Healthcare corporation based in Tustin, California which operates four hospitals in this area.

Comparatevely its a small hospital. You are moving from UK, so am not sure what lured you to move here and what are your expectations.

Its a small, but friendly environment. If you are already a staff, look for "Austin" and say Hello.
