Any one go to JF Drake State in Huntsville

i'll be attending there also on august 19... I am going for the CNA... and I already have my math and english courses so I'm taking the NAS100 class on M and T from 8-2. This is also my first time taking any classes there.... are you also in that class?

Hi, No I dont have that class I will be in LPN104,105,113,133, MAH105,ORI101. Do you have to take ORI101? I have it Thursdays 1:00 to 2:00. I was told every new student had to take this class. Its Orientation to college that last all semster. I wonder what they will be teaching us. Are you going Next Tuesday to the Campus tour and New student Orentation? I will be going.

hey no i'm not taking that class... they didn't tell me that. I am only taking that one class, and it only lasts until october... i'm going to register that morning, but not for the campus tour since I'm only gonna take one class.... I was injured in an accident in the beginning of July, long story... I have a CSF leak in my head so they doctors are telling me to go ahead and try the classes so I'm gonna register, but if I keep getting headaches during class, then I might just take the october class... (sorry if this makes no sense)...... I'll explain if you want me to later... but yeah.... I'm excited about Drake though, I hope I'll be able to do it. :rolleyes:

Makes perfect sense. Sorry to here about your accident. I bet you will do great. Maybe we can study or something together sometime. I know we dont have the same classes but we are working toward the same field [Nursing]. May we can help each understand some of the material if we get lost or something. Well I have a 9 month old boy who wants to type too. so gtg.

haha 9 months, dang your hands are full.... well actually i went to register at drake, and the nas class has two minimesters.. one now till oct, and then one oct-dec, and i figured better to be safe and register for the oct. one, well they said they probably wont' be doing the october-december one because no one else has signed up for it so she, mrs. cartwright, said to call her during late registration this week to see if anyone else has signed up for it... but as of last week, no one wanted the later class... so i might just be taking it at red cross... because that's the only other place that has CNA courses other than a nursing home. well good luck with your classes, i know you'll do well and maybe we can study sometime if i take my classes at drake! :nurse:

I start the LPN program on August 19 I'm very excited and alittle scared too. has anyone gone to JF Drake or Calhoun here? what are the programs like? Where did you do clinicals? Thanks for any info.

I just read this. Did you go to Drake. I went there in 1978 and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Hope you enjoyed the program.
