Any one attending Ambria College of Nursing?

I am an LPN and had attended the first RN info session but was not given alot of information about this program as far as tuition, prerequsites, ect.

When I contacted the school, I was told to attend another info session:confused:

Please let me know if you attend this school and any other info.

I attended Ambria (Americare Institute formerly) in the LPN program. The tuition for LPN-RN is something like 22000 which is just for the nursing program and not the prereqs. If you start in the LPN program the cost of that is 28000 then an additional 22000 for LPN to RN. The education there is quality and I liked most of my instructors. My biggest issue with this school was they were always changing things and giving you dates last minute. If you had a question in reguards to the program you had to ask a few different people to get an answer and it wasn't always the right answer. I had to call off work multiple times because they would change dates and times. So I would say to enter at your own risk. This will be my last resort as a LPN-RN program

I attended a private vocational LPN school and got the impression from the CEO John, that other LPN schools are substandard to the former Americare.

Were the books included in the RN tuition? It seems that they nickel and dime you for everything. I did not like the way it was mentioned that Americare graduates have a priority in gaining entrance to the program.

I received a quality education and have no regrets on the school I chose to complete my LPN. Thanks again!:)

John tries to reel you in as would a car dealer; he is selling you an education. They will charge you for all they can. Books are not included and as someother schools allow you to use financial aid to purchase books Ambria no longer does.

If you took your Anatomy & Physiology courses at other schools and they're transferable, the cost of the LPN is 22000. I think almost every school is in the business of selling their programs to prospective students (Just look at the add on this site). I haven't found of any business that says choose us because we're second rate. Every company highlights what it does best. And Ambria is no different. I suggest every new nursing student should try to visit at least a few schools to make a really good, objective comparison.

Hello , i would like to know if anyone had attended LPN program at ambria college of nursing in shamburg.

if anyone could tell me what i need to do before enroll in the LPN program, what classes should i take .The only degree i have is high school diploma form europa.

i understood from the website that i need do take prerequisite , and CNA class.

is ambria offer the prerequisite classes and how much it cost.

i don't know from where to start . please help me . thank you

Ambria's A&P I is 7 weeks. A&P II is another 7 weeks. To progress , you need to earn C or better. These courses meet 2 days/week or 4 nights/week. They are fast track. I recommend taking Anatomy & Physiology courses at a community college. Then transfer them in to Ambria.

There is 101 reasons not to go here. Not cause students don't try their best to score well on the exams. Its also not because They don't study enough. Its cause Their theory instructors aren't to the point of what we need to know. Testing material isn't the same as their lectures. Cant even argue with them because they will clearly state "you need to read and know everything in the book" yes but you're getting paid to explain the book for me too. LPN graduate and will not go back for the RN here. No way.

Hi I have attended they're info session , they tell you a lot of informations but the school is run as a business not as a school , after you pay your tuition is very hard to find the staff and the school classes change with no notice
