Any NCTC Fall 2018 LVN Hopefuls?

I applied for the Corinth campus. Anyone else out there waiting not so patiently until mid April?

Lol. I'm doing the same. Goodness the anticipation is killing Me! I really hippie you hear soon because I want to sign up for summer classes and get things out the way.

I did read the application page last night (again, lol) and it says notification is April 15. At least we know it will be this week.

Me too! Are you going to take the online class or seated class? Part of me wants to just do the online because I live so far from the campus, but I have a feeling that I would learn more from being in class with Mrs. Lopes.

That's the hard part. I want to take the seated part but would love to do the online also....I just don't want it to be "harder" you know. I want to save the online when I get to the BSN part of my learning so I can work and go to school. But if I have no choice, I definitely will accept online.

I think the in seat is an all day class once a week, if there is room, in going for it.

I think it's on Tuesday. I plan to take it, but I'm waiting to see this outcome first, obviously. I tried to register yesterday just in case, but they told me I was a "spring" applicant, so I have to reapply for summer. I thought that was ridiculous and asked him exactly what happens if I DO get accepted. He said I'd have to come to the campus to figure it all out. Just another hoop to jump through last minute.....

Yep, that happened to me before, you have to update the application each semester.

I think I'm going to go ahead and register just in case. Either way I want to get it out the way. It'll just work me toward completing the other prereqs for the next levels.

Honestly I'm taking the online class for a&p right now and the instructor is great. Her audio lectures are awesome but... I do wish I would have taken the in seat class I feel like I'm not grasping everything like I should... I'm passing with a 81% but you have to have a 77% to pass and I still have one exam left and then my final

Who did you email? Casey the program assistant has been out sick and she's back today because she emailed me back this morning from me asking her which campus group I'm in the running for... I thought she was the one to help send out the email and if so we should find out today since she is back

You have to have a 77 in the A&P? The Allied Health course?

Is that NCTC grading scale for just their nursing courses or all courses?
