Any National University of San Diego RN Alumni out there?

Hello! I'm currently taking the prereqs to apply to the nursing program and have done extensive research. There's one thing missing- feedback from alumni. I've scoured allnurses.com for alumni from National University of San Diego BSN prog but I haven't found had any luck :uhoh3:. If you are an alumni :nurse: please let me know how your experience went. Is there anything you wish someone told you before you began the BSN program? Is there anything you'd change? What was your favorite thing about NU? What was the most challenging and how did you overcome it? Please pass on your words of wisdom. Tips on TEAS, Essay, NCLEX... all feedback is welcome. Congrats on becoming an RN! :bowingpur

Hi! I am currently fulfilling pre-reqs to apply to NU. I was wondering if any recent alumni have reviews on the ABSN program?

Hello, I'm currently applying to NU's BSN program and I have a few questions that I would love to ask graduates.

1. I was wondering how easy or difficult it has been for recent graduates to find a job upon completion of the program? Does the NU program have a good reputation in local hospitals?

2. Has anyone gone on to work on a higher level of education such as a masters, NP or NA?

3. Are there any issues with transferring credits? I've read on several sites that NU credits are not transferable.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to give some feed back.

I am also considering NU. Can you give me an example of the class schedule for the first couple of months? Is it Monday-Friday? All day classes?? Just information like that. My job is flexible, but only to a certain extent, so before I go any further, I need to know I can at least work part time.

Hello,

It has been a few years since anyone has commented on this thread. I was wondering how the BSN program is now at NU or if there are any alumni that want to comment? I've read some horrible reviews, but also positive ones. This seems like the right program for me considering I'm 30 and already have a BA. But I'm still skeptical considering how expensive it can be. Just want to know if it has improved with the counselors and professors and what the class schedule is like. what about the pass rate percentage?

When I was in the program they were just changing the program because the pass rate sucked… but I have to say the program was pretty good now that I’m done… if you have any questions I have a Youtube channel you can follow and then I can answer any questions you might have…

Hi I am applying to National University's BSN program and I was wondering if anyone knows if theres an online community college or another school you can take the co-requisites to graduate for the "340A-spanish workplace and Spanish 341- Cross-Cultural" courses? or are they only offered at NU?

*Also does anyone know if you need to have the 2 Spanish classes complete in order to sit for the NCLEX? or its just to graduate?

thanks
