Any 2016 Nashville Area School Hopefuls?

Published

Hi everyone! I have applied to Lipscomb's nursing school in hopes of starting this Fall... still waiting to hear back about an interview! Has anyone else applied?

I have also applied/am in the process of applying to TSU (ASN), Nashville State, Aquinas, Belmont, and Chattanooga State! I'd love to hear back from you all!

I have applied to Lipscomb for the fall term as well. I don't think we will hear anything until the last week of January. I also applied to Nscc, Columbia state, and Cumberland. Hopefully, we will hear something soon!!

I've applied to Nashville State so far. Thinking about some other programs

Good luck to both of you! Who knows... maybe we will be classmates!

Ma123 - let me know when you hear something back from Lipscomb please!

Sure, I will let you know as soon as I hear something! Let me know when you hear something too!

I received an email with a link to sign up for an interview slot at Lipscomb!

I did too. I signed up for Febuary 15th. Let me know how it goes for you. Let me know how it goes for you.

I actually signed up for that day too! I'm a little nervous... not sure what all to expect question wise

I was accepted into Aquinas College, but decided that wasn't the school for me. In the interview they asked questions about why you want to be a nurse, why did you choose their program, and since I'm already a medical assistant they asked me a lot of questions about what I've done so far. Also, they ask about the most difficult decision you've had to make, and how do you handle stressful situations. Those are the main questions I was asked.

Thanks for letting me know some of the things you were asked! I just completed my file for Aquinas so I guess I should be hearing back from them before too long... how long did it take you to hear a decision once you had everything submitted to them? I'm not sure if they are the school for me either. I was told that it would take me 3 years to get my BSN when it would only take me 2 at others.

No problem. Aquinas is actually a 4yr program. That is the main reason I didn't want to go to that school. Besides I'm already a junior with all the credits I have, and it would be like starting completely over. It took me about a week or two to here something back after I submitted everything, and had my interview over Skype.
