Any jobs for nurses to work from home?

I need suggestions on a way to find a job where I can work from home but still use my nursing education/experience. I don't want to get into all the details on why I want to work from home, I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I have a BSN 3 years of PCU experience. TIA!!

I have heard that if you have case management experience that it can be done from home. I'm checking into it myself but don't have all the details just yet.

hi all:

i wondered if you've checked into home-based worker's compensation case managment. some positions do not require are home based and you only travel when you have appts with the patients/md's. other positions are strictly home based, and you do all the work over the phone. just need phone line, internet access and fax! good luck in your search!:)

I am an LPN with 29 years experience and I am also looking for a way to work from home. would appreciate any suggestions.

Intellicare offers a remote workforce....over 90% of their employees work from home. As far as RN's they have 2 divisions.....telephone triage, or disease management. You have to live within 1 hour of a call center, and there are several across the country.

I am not sure if they hire LPN's. I worked in disease management at home for a few months. It was unfortunate after this length of time they had to renegotiate the biggest contract they had........it ended up being a major staff layoff. I, along with most of the new hires for the year were let go. They did call me back several months later but I had already taken another job. Working from home had it's advantages, but they are pretty strict on how your time is clocked and managed during working hours.

I think there are other companies who may offer work from home. I think UnitedHealth Group offers work from home for parts of their Nurseline.

Hi all, anybody have an idea of a job from home for an RN, got a new baby and looking for a job that will give me time to stay with her until she is strong enough to go to babysitter.
