Any Ivy Tech's have an ASN January Start?

Hi all, just wondering if any of the Ivy Tech campuses, besides Indianapolis, offers an ASN clinical start in the spring 08 semester? I will be applying at the Indianapolis campus, however, I wanted to apply at others. I know Lafayette only has a fall start, but that one is all I know about. Any help would be appreciated!

New Castle, IN has a small Spring start class. You apply to the Muncie location, as they handle Anderson, Muncie, Marion, and New Castle. Hope this helps

Terre Haute has an ASN class that is starting in Jan, I believe the deadline to apply is Sept, but you would need to call them to check for sure.

Thanks for the information! I went to the Muncie Ivy Tech website and didn't see New Castle as one of the locations. Is it new?

It is not new, but you have to go to Central Indiana Ivy Tech, as it encompasses the four cities. Hope this helps.

Yes, the Valparaiso campus has fall and spring starts.

Howdy,

South Bend Campus only has Fall start, unfortunately. I missed the April deadline for Fall 07, thinking they had a Fall and Spring start.

LPN has Fall and Spring, though.

I was just wondering the same thing about SB. So, I will probably miss the Fall '08 start. I can't take A & P II until Spring '08. If I have this right, I won't finish it until May when the deadline is April.

Maybe I will apply for the LPN program instead. I guess now the curriculum has changed so the first year of the ASN program is the same as the LPN program!

Anyone else taking A & P I this fall?

If I'm not mistaken, although the deadline is april to get your app in, they wait until after the spring semester to select, waiting on ANP II results. Ask the nursing director about that!!!

Really! Gosh, thanks so much for posting. I have been driving myself nuts with this, knowing that I can't ask anyone until at least Monday, or maybe even Friday at the Nurse Info Session. That takes a load off lol.

Yes, that is true for the Anderson campus as well.
