Published

Hey guys so im thinking of becoming an LPN but in the meantime i want to get certified as a health unit coordinator. I was wondering if anyone here is an HUC or was at one point. If you are or know someone who is, do you know whats the starting salary for that position here in Orlando?? How much do they pay at Florida Hospital, ORMC, Health Central...etc. And what is the typical day for an HUC/work schedule??? I have an idea of the responsibilities or else i wouldnt have signed up for this lol but i would like an actual HUC worker who can PLEASE give me details...is it hard??? how long do they train you at the hospital??? any information would be great!!! thank you!

heyy !! i live in orlando and was thinking about taking the HUC class so i could get a job in a hospital during nursing school...i have a friend who was a HUC at winnnie palmer and she got liike around 9 an hour..which doent beat what im making now so iv decided aginst it for now, its still in the back of my mind tho . i think its eaither orlando tech or mid fl tech that offers a HUC classs..which i wouild reccomend taking it b/c all the hospitals pretty much requie it now

I really dont know anything about mid florida tech but orlando tech does teach it. Its a 4month course and starts in August. $9 an hr?? that kinda sux for working at a hospital as winnie palmer but your right hospitals do require it...
