Any hopsitals in chicagoland area hiring LPN's

Hey Susan, I remember u taking the class at Pccti for your lpn. how is that going? There was many threads posted the good and bad of the school. Yeah whatever...I saw on Macneal's hospital website they were looking for lpn but don't know exactly for what. Its located in Berwyn. Check it out and do a all jobs search when u get to MacNeal hospitals website. Good luck and hope to hear from you!!

Thanks!! I think a lot of people think my name is Susan because of the "Desp Seeking" :wink: Lots of Madonna fans out there!

As for PCCTI things are going well. We're sort of in our groove now. I just completed Nursing 101 with an overall grade of 92.5!!! They are still working out their kinks but as far as the June 09 LPN's we're doing awesome! We're off for a few weeks and will start with 102 when we return in December. Word is they have signed UIC as one of the clincal sites and I'm VERY excited about that! I'll have to travel pretty far but I don't care- what a great place to learn! Thanks for the tip about McNeal.

hahah..that is what I was exactly thinking when I typed susan...me like a ding dongput deep instead of desparate...funny. u read my mind and yes a madonna fan! That is awesome that things are moving along well at school with you. You and I both know many hospitals don't hire lpn too much these days. Another hospital to look at is Christ in Oak Lawn. I have seen a few post like months ago.As for myself..well to be honest no I havent enrolled to do the AP course. What am I waiting for??? UHHH couldn't answer that either. I am more like afraid to go back to school cuz I have been stay home mom for 5ys. I feel like if I fail I will lose all the money at PCCTi....I know I need to work on my inner confidence. But first I need to get over this and take the AP class...and if I do well then maybe I will feel more confident in myself...baby steps.Take care and I will check on u time to time. Hope u dn't mind.
