I am contemplating going to SC4 to get my ADN, however, they are not yet NLN accredited. However, they are approved by the MI BON. I notice on many Michigan hospital job sites that one of the requirements for an RN job is "graduation from an accredited nursing program." Any RN's here who graduated from SC4 and who are employed? What hospitals to you work at? Did you encounter any problems in the employment process? Did certain hospitals refuse to hire you?
Thanks !
Anybody? I'm still curious:) Thanks!

Yes, they're not yet NLN accredited (it's a work in progress), but they're not UN-accredited. They're accredited by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing and that's what's required. RNs that graduate from SC4 don't appear to have any trouble finding work that I've ever noticed--at least not in-regards to where they studied. In my clinical rotations, I frequently met working RNs at all the hosptials we visited who had graduated from SC4. In fact, the clinical nurse educator at the hospital where I'm doing my nurse tech right now said her best hires have come from SC4; they've been the most prepared for the floor, that she's seen.
