Any Excelsior students transfer credit with national accreditation?

Are there any current or past students that have transferred credit to Excelsior that attended a private college that was nationally and not regionally accredited?

I would give EC a call and ask them straight up. Best way to get a good specific answer about that particular school.

I was told nothing would transfer d/t the private college i attended being nationally accredited and not ACE reviewed. Others have said they have been told the same, but have been granted credit when they called another time and spoke with another counselor(Not on this site). I wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience. I've already prepared myself mentally to do more exams than I originally thought.

You're not signed with the College Network, are you? The reason I ask, is because I was told the same thing; that I needed two additional classes initially by them, but then later found out from Excelsior that I did not need to re-take them. These two classes were taken at a local Hospital school of nursing that I attended.

I would then deal with EC in writing. I say this because over time, when they periodically reevaluated my credits, they changed my record. I would prefer to have an answer in writing for future reference. It sucks when different advisors give conflicting information over the phone.
