Hi. The classes are online. However, some classes do have on site requirements. They have both an LPN program and an LPN to RN program. More information can be found at distance.minnesota.edu/
Hi. I am new to this forum and will be starting Distance Minnesota / Northland Community & Technical College this Summer 2008. I am taking the Practical Nursing - AAS program. Just wondering if there are any other students here? Thanks.
I will be starting that same program this fall. How is it going for you. What part of the country are you in?

My summer session classes just started on Monday (Microbiology & Anatomy). I haven't done much yet. I live in central MN. I will be attending full-time in fall. Have you already picked your fall classes? I have Anatomy 2, Psychology, Concepts of Nursing, Nursing Roles & Intermediate Algebra.
Im going to start with Intermediate Algebra and Public Speaking. Im going to take A&P I & II and Microbiology in the local college here. I want to bridge to RN afterwards and those courses are only 3 credits and I'm afraid i will need the four (4) credits when I bridge to RN program.
Good Luck to you!
Hi,
I just recently applied for admission for the fall and will be registering once I get the go ahead from admissions. Even though I am not from MN, this is one of the most feasible nursing programs around. I am bypassing a few local programs to complete my education through Northland's online nursing program. Even the onsite requirement is comparable and more flexible than clinicals in the traditional setting, which makes me not mind having to travel to MN several times a semester.:loveya:
I am So Happy to hear that there are some Students from NCTC on this Board... I am a recent Graduate of the RN Program in TRF 07. I want my Daughter to do the RN program online. So I am very interested!!!!
Keep us posted on progress and what clinicals and the HAP Class (skills) are like
GOOD LUCK!!

NCTC requires 3 credits for A&P I & II, Micro, 2 Credits for Adv A&P I heard that they maybe requiring Into to algebra or something = to it, for the RN program...
Always keep in mind to try and wittle down on the RN Pre Req and Co-Req. Makes that last year much easier!!!
Explore the NCTC Web site Lots of info there... PM me if you have any Questions I know who to ask.
Hi MN Students,
I hope that you guys are still viewing posts here... My name is Erika Jeffery and as I stated earlier in this post I am starting classes at Northland (online) this fall, and I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share housing/transportation to NCTC when I come there for the Nursing skills I visits. I will usually be coming there by Amtrak a day earlier just because of Amtrak's schedule. If you are willing/able to help me please PM me, or post a response here and I will get in touch with you. Thanks so much.
Erika:)
