I received a phone call on Wednesday to schedule an interview. From what I have heard all the units do their hiring separately so the timelines and process can slightly vary by unit. I know some people have had their status changed saying something along the lines of not choosing them for an interview so if yours is still under review I would take that as a good sign. Good luck to us all!
Hey everyone. I havent applied to CHOC yet, but I was interested in finding out how many applications were already submiited for the Feb 2012 cohort. Has anyone asked? I know that UCLA got somewhere around 2000 during their last application period. Also, will any of your care to share your education and background? Thanks and good luck to you all.
samanthaaRNare you living in oc? can i ask for your educational background/experience and anything "extra" you did outside of nursing school? i applied to CHOC and thats my dream job too but no luck =(
What department did you apply to? My status didn't change yet and i applied for hema onco. I'm an international graduate and i hope that does not affect my application. Don't worry, there's a reason for everything so just stay positive! :) Still keeping my hopes up.

Hi everyone!
I somehow managed to land an interview for the February 2012 RN Residency program at CHOC, for the hem-onc unit. I'm beyond thrilled that I got an interview, especially since I've applied at CHOC before...more than once. This is my dream job, and now that I "hit the jackpot" and got an interview, I want to make sure that I do everything possible to prepare for the interview so that I get the job! If there's any CHOC nurses reading this, your advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!!! :redpinkhe
