Hi I'm curious, has anyone graduated from an FNP/MSN online program from a school outside of California (Not including University of Phoenix or Dominguez Hills) and actually got certified in California by the nursing board as an NP? If so, which one did you graduate?
It appears that the nursing board here isn't to hip on alternative training programs outside of California (i.e. Excelsior College)
Thanks

With their "certificate" NP programs (no Masters Degree and only good in the state of CA), you would think they would be the capital of alternative training programs.
Wow, that is such a good point. I wonder if California is the only state where you can be an NP without at least a BSN.
California is the only state where you don't need to have at least an MSN to be an NP.
