You can do your pre-requisites part time, but for actual nursing school you need to suck it up and go full time. Because there are so few spots for students in nursing schools they want full time students who will graduate and get licensed on time. You will have clinicals in addition to your classes, so you'll be at the hospital from 7am-3pm several days a week. If you have a degree your choices will be to enter an accelerated program and take out loans and/or go crazy working nights & evenings, or enter a traditional program and go slower and have time to work nights & evenings. Good luck!
Thanks for your info. My issue is that I have 2 young children and wanted to find something that wasn't M-F all day. I was hoping to find something in the evenings or weekends or just 2-3 weekdays, so I could still stay home with my children and work out a schedule with my husband. So far I haven't seen anything in my area.

Are there any Bachelor level nursing programs that have classes on evenings or weekends? I want to earn a second Bachelor in Nursing, but I haven't been able to find any programs in Michigan or Ohio that offer classes on evenings or weekends. I'm hoping there is some program out there that caters to working adults. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
