Any books by nurses about nursing school?

I have really enjoyed reading the posts about some of your experiences in nursing school, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any books that were written by nurses about their experience in nursing school. I have seen books written about medical, law, business school, and college in general, but I haven't seen any about nurses and what their experience at school were like. I have seen books about nurses about their experiences after they became a nurse, but nothing before that. Can anyone help? Thanks! :)

There is a good book by Echo Heron, RN that includes her school exoeriences, but she went to school about 25 years ago. A lot of the stuff she talks about still happens, but the practices are different now. I would highly recommend that one.

"Code Blue" by Barbara.. can't remember her last name.. is good. Unfortunately it is also about 25 years old.

What was with the glut of "nurse-tells-all" books in the early 80s? "Nurse" by Peggy Anderson, "The Nurse's Story" by Carol Gino, "Code Blue"... there are a lot :uhoh21:
