Any advise for new grad in San Antonio area?

Published

This is a lot thougher than I thought. As a new BSN grad with no experience......it seems all the doors are shut closed. I've applied everywhere and no response. The nursing homes that I did apply are not hiring or want somebody prn (i've applied for prn as well). I've applied to double shifts and willing to do anything, but no luck yet. I'm eager to work soon.....but it seems that this is not happening...Any suggestions as to where to apply or previous experiences where you guys landed your first nursing job. I'm desperate and running out of money !!!pls HELP

WOW didnt know it was that bad in San Antiono...I was looking to relocate there because I thought it was easier to find a job...Are you able to relocate somewhere else like border towns and rural areas??? get the one year experience then you will be able to move back? goodluck!

yep! idk my timing must be off.....I haven't gotten a call from anyone....really everyone wants experience....is not like it would take forever to train...I can't relocate but i can try rural areas I guess...I'll give it a week ...relocation to border town is out of the question bc i'm close to broke and no family around here.
