Hello, I am considering going back to school to become a Scrub Tech (I obtained my Bachelor's Degree 11 years ago and have been a Stay at Home Mom for the last 4 years).
I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and am interested to know if there is a school/program that is looked upon more favorably than others for this certification/diploma? Or, perhaps there is one to avoid?
I have done some homework and visited ast.org and caahep.org in order to locate accredited programs, but didn't realize that there would be so many in this area! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
:wink2:Thanks!
I am looking at going back to school for ST and then of course ceritification as a CST. I have done some homework by visiting ast.org as well as caahep.org and know that I need to attend a CAAHEP accredited school--there are a few in the metroplex and wanted to know opinions on them? One better than the others in making myself more marketable after graduation? One to avoid? How is the job market in DFW for CSTs?
It's been 11 years since I obtained my Bachelor's, so it's like I'm starting over a bit.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

I believe El Centro has a ST program.
Yes, El Centro does. I have heard the least amount of good about its program. I have chosen NCTC's program. I've done some research and have been pretty impressed with it so far. Thanks!
