Have you started taking any prerequisites yet??? That would be the first thing, is try and get some classes taken and do well in them. Also, if you wanted to get your CNA and get some hands on experience...that would help too!! Try and check out the program you want to get into and maybe give an enrollment advisor a call. They would be more than willing to let you know what you will need and what could help boost your application!!! Good Luck;)
Thxs for the fast reply!
I have started the pre reqs and the main thing I want to focus on is the science classes and make sure I get high marks, because I noticed that alot of the schools average the sciences as well.
But like you said what I want to find out is ways to Boost My Application.
#1 You gave an example of CNA certification which is great
#2 I plan to Volunteer at a local Hospital
Any other Suggestions would be very much appreciated ! !
Thanks

UIC application encouraged people to send samples of creative work. Because I have a master's degree in music and played professionally in New York, I sent a recording of my music. I know it seems totally ridiculous, but the application asked for it and I got invited for an interview.
Another super important one is foreign language skills! If you know even a little bit of spanish, let them know or take some spanish classes.
