Antelope Valley College Fall 2017

I'm not sure if this thread exists already, but earlier this month I applied for the AVC RN program and hope to get in for the fall, although I'm not sure how much of a chance that I have! I do have 65 points, which I heard isn't bad at all, but since I applied only a couple of weeks before the deadline, I'm worried I might've been too late.

Anyone else hoping to get into fall semester?

My letter came in yesterday too!

Wow congratulations!!! We have so much to do before then haha I don't even know where to begin! But a couple things are due really soon so I'm starting with those first

I recieved my letter that weekend on mothersday too! Been trying to get my Immunizations in! How's everyone doing on their deadlines?(:

Thank you and congrats to you as well! :D So far I've been ok with the deadlines, just getting my immunizations outta the way so that I can finally submit my physical exam along with the drug screening. The only issue I have is my Hep B shot, because I have to wait 4 weeks in order to get the 2nd one but that will be a few days after the deadline :( so I'm gonna call the office and hopefully they'll be understanding...

I haven't got any books or supplies from the huge list yet, though. Oh, and I just did the personal as well.

Nice! I'm checking up my immunizations too ugh takes forever! I just turned in my physical cause i thought the titers were enough but The Clerk Assistant called me back to fix it >_

Do you have your Basic Life Support Card?(: i was thinking of doing mine at UAV tomrrow (:

Oh yeah, I still have to do that too!! Maybe I should get it out of the way sooner like you are? That sounds like a much smarter idea... I hope it isn't too hard though haha

Ok, I signed up for the one on June 17th just because I have things to do tomorrow. But at least that's outta the way now!

Hehehe(: well they are doing one at avc on aug 14&15 and thats gonna be with our instructors from theRN program too! But if you signed up already thats good!

I'm not 100% about tomrrow either just cause its so late >_

Oh nice! Do you have a link? I found 2 groups but one of them is just for those who are already graduating in fall 2017. The other one looks newer since it only has 3 members, so I requested to join hah
