This was my first attempt taking the NCLEX. I used all the Kaplan and Saunders study materials and was feeling GREAT this morning--confident and prepared to just kick this test's butt. But when I got to the testing center, there were ~10 or so other test takers and I could tell they were all super SUPER anxious, which of course made me super anxious just being in that atmosphere...
My heart dropped when I passed 75 questions....then 150....then all of a sudden I took all 265 questions. I think I mentally psyched myself out in the middle of taking the test and now I just don't know how to feel..
At this point I'm just squirming in my seat waiting for that 48 hour mark to get my unofficial results. This won't deter me from becoming a nurse but I just needed to get this out there and rant with people who'll understand because I don't really feel like any of my friends or family really understand what I'm going through
Has anyone else experienced taking all the questions? And do you take this as a good or bad thing??

It's neither good nor bad. People pass and fail with 265, just like they do with 75. I went all 265 and passed, so I can assure you the number isn't a harbinger of doom!

I was in the same boat. I went in with the wrong attitude because all my classmates got around 75 and I thought if I passed 100 I failed for sure which made me a nervous wreck after I got all 265.
I hope you passed!
