Yippee!!!! :yeah: Just passed my state exams today!

I couldn't believe how easy my skills were...radial pulse and dressing with a weak side. That's it (besides handwashing, of courser)! Wow! I think I had an angel watching over me or something. It's done, thank God, and I start orientation at a facility on Monday working 7-3 in the Rehab/Hospice wing. Can't wait! Then I'll start my pre-requisites (A&P and Micro) before applying to an ADN program nearby. I'm so excited! Congrats to everyone else who passed!

I got my certification last Thursday, Nov 20th. I currently work in an LTC facility where I've been the last 3 months. I plan on going for CMT in six months, then to LPN school next fall, then on for my RN.

Actually I passed my CNA exam in August of 2008. This is a career change for me from corporate America and honestly, I am scared to look for work for two reasons 1) is the pay is sooooooo loooww 10 to 11 bucks per hour, not even enough to pay my daycare fees for my three small children and 2) even though I did it during my clinicals, I am still scared of the poop and poop smell.

I am currently taking my pre req college classes for my ADN degree
