Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) nursing - Spring 2025

how many points got you into Anne arundel nursing? I got a 75 on the TEAS but only have 11 or 12 points out of 22. Is this enough to get in?

@nursedreamer how many points did you have I was waitlisted

I believe because my Spring grades were just posted because they told me the application was still under review. They were just waiting for final prereq grades to be posted.

I also will only have 8 or 9 points I believe.

I will keep us both in prayer 🙏🏾 I hope they'll update us appt sooner than later. I'am registered for the mandatory meeting. I will be there. I'm hoping we hear something before.

How many points do you have mine is under review as well.

I believe I had a 17 or 18 point but none of my classes were taken at AACC

Holy crap, I cannot even compete with that. I just graduated high school so have no degree and have not worked in healthcare. I thought I did okay on my prerequisites with all A and Bs but I'm wondering if it's not enough!

Of course that is enough you got this! All A and Be is great and I'm sure that you will get in! You got this!

I'm actually not sure about my points, in the calculation are you counting grades from A & P as well as Micro?

Same. I work at mercy medical center in Baltimore, MD and one the nursing supervisors is on the aacc nursing committee and she also teaches their Nur 230 course. She said they were only supposed to enroll a certain amount for this nursing cohort but said they are accepting 40 extra students. I forgot the exact enrollment amount she stated. Hopefully we all get into the program.

Hi, just wondering are you still at Mercy? I been working there 10+ years. How is the program going?

I can give you a breakdown of how I calculated my points. 
 

TEAS: 3 points 
Number of attempts: 1 point

Biology 1: 3 points 

English pre req:  3 points 

Math pre req: 3 points 

MA137 or higher: 1 point 

Second Biology: 1 point 

And also I did already  take Microbiology but I don't see in the point system so I didn't add, these points are from what's on the websites point system

Heyyy it's going alright! I have to retake fundamentals but I finished the other two classes.
