I am trying to fins a god program to transition from LVN to RN in Texas. This college was recommended to me, however, I can't find any online info on how the program works. If you go to their website it doesn't have any info on this particular program. Has anyone used this program? Where can I get more info on how the program works? I am trying to decide between This and the Excelsior programs.
Thanks in advance!

Both programs are good, but one thing to keep in mind about Excelsior is what states you plan to be licensed and work in. There are 13 or so states in which Excelsior grads have to meet certain requirements for licensure and/or endorsement (for example, some states will only let you endorse in with experience).
Maryland will license Excelsior grads again sometime this fall. California, on the other hand, still will not license them.

Texas isn't one of the states with special requirements, so if you're planning to work in Texas as a RN, you'd be good. But if you're planning to move/travel in the future, keep that list in mind.

Does anyone know if Angelo State University in TEXAS still has its LVN to RN transition program? When I click the link on its website, it goes to an empty page. Im looking to go from LVN to RN online. Any help is appreciated!
