So I took the ANCC Gerontology exam yesterday and did not receive a score report from prometric afterwards because of tech error or something that just so happened to occur. Just my luck! Unfortunately for me, neither ANCC or Prometric are able to tell me if i passed or failed over the phone. They said just wait 24 hours, which I have, and still no result. Prometric just now told me I'll be emailed Monday.
The problem with this is that I intended to flaunt my new certification on my resume for grad school. The application is due March 1st.
Does anyone know a way to find out on the website if you passed or failed? Remember the NCLEX trick where you try to re-register for the exam and if it doesn't allow you to, that meant you passed? ANCC website allowed me to order a verification of certification letter. Not sure if that means anything. Any input would be great.

Flaunt your certification? LOL....do you think it'll make that much difference in your getting accepted?

Having your certification is nice but this won't be the deciding factor for grad school. They will be looking at your letters of reference, your GPA and your letter of intent.

Just wanted to let you know that I agree - your new certification is most definitely something to flaunt on your resume. I would want to do the same.

Hi kay laurie! I had the same problem during my certification test today. How long did it take them to give you your result? Was it through email or regular mail? I am anxious!
