Anatomy and Physiology Help

Published

I start my Lpn program in about a month and I'm studying from the A/P book, but I'm not sure if I should study every little detail or just the more basic stuff like what organs are in each system, what those parts do and what kind of diseases effect those organs . Is knowing that info enough to do well? :uhoh3:

Specializes in Pediatrics, OB/GYN, ER, Geriatrics.

I would also study and know your bones, muscles, cranial nerves as well...my program went through all of this including the begining chemistry part in A&P. When you get into Pharm, you will need to know how drugs are chemically broken down in the body.

I do not know what your school requires, but that is just an overview of what we touched on in the class and really helped when I got into fundamentals and now med-surg and pharm

Best of luck to you and congrats!
