Anatomy II help/practical

Published

I did not pass my lab practical on senses. I usually do better on lecture exams. Does anyone have suggestions on how to study for practicals?

Thanks

well for me when im inclass i make sure i take the time out to handle the models! then i make cards and i draw the pictures on them...i mean i draw well, if u dont it might confuse u!

As kl1730 said, draw the pictures and test yourself. What kind of book do you use? There are many companion sites for college text books that are really helpfull. Here are some of what I use:

I hope these will help.

Good luck!

I brought my digital camera with me to every class and took photo's of every model discussed and every slide that our instructor showed (she used an LCD projector so the slide was projected on the wall). Then when I got home, I printed the photo's, labeled them, and put them in sheet protectors to study, study, study. I also use a flash card program called iFlash (I'm a mac user - I don't know if it works with PC's, but I'm sure there's something similar) and I incorporate the slide photo's into my flash card. One side of the card would be the photo, and I would have to identify it, and then describe it's function.

I really love the flashcard program. I was able to quiz myself every day on all of the required slides and structures, so when it was test time I really felt prepared. Another great benefit was that I didn't have to run to the lab to see the models every time there was an open lab before an exam - I had pictures of everything right at home.

Good luck.
