$183/yr or $15.75/month.
It depends on the State in which you live, for full membership in the ANA you have to also be a member of your State nurse's association (believe that is true for almost all states). For Kansas, my combined cost of the KSNA and ANA is like $286 yearly or $25 monthly. I have yet to be disappointed in my membership with either association. The cost may seem extreme, but honestly with all the discounts, free CEU's, networking and such that I have gotten from the ANA, it has paid for itself several times over. I'm also a nurse who believes in and supports the work that the ANA does to improve patient safety, nurse working conditions, etc. You can get an associate membership (?) which is free and allows you access to portions of website and ANA newsletters. I'm not sure what the student cost is. I do highly recommend membership in the ANA and suggest that you check out their website for all the benefits of membership.

I was considering joining the ANA, I went on their website but it wants you to give all your personal information before you can get a price on the different memberships. Is anyone a member and what is the cost, do you find it useful? I was looking at it for resources on papers that I have to write, I am finishing my BSN.
