Filled with hundreds of innovative products and awe-inducing displays, NTI 2017 was truly another amazing sight to behold. As we wandered through the aisles of exhibits, we came across a creative product called Ivea from the folks at Firefly Medical.
As a product created by nurses, creator Steve Schmutzer worked with over 100 nurses to design a safe and effective tool which replaces the rather dated IV pole. This new product provides stability for patients, allowing them to walk in a more natural posture and gate and requires only one nurse for what previously required multiple staff members.
