American River College (ARC) Spring 2025

I couldn't find a post for those of us applying to ARC for the Spring '25 cohort.

Let me know if you're applying and what # you were on the application list. I applied on the 10th and there were around 35 applications at the time.

I haven't received it either. I think orientation is not until December 9th.

I have not received an additional email yet. I am glad I am nor the only one.  Orientation is 8am Monday the  9th and Thursday the 12th.

They got back to me, I was not selected. They didn't even review the application to qualify for a waitlist. I'd check the email ARCN. Or the Los Rios portal.

I thought that my first application round but on this round I did not have to resend my transcripts, so they did review it and upload them to the system. They never update the page online. I am accepted and my status online has not changed. There is no wait list but you can reapply. At ARC your prerequisites never expire which is nice. I applied everywhere multiple times before I was picked. Don't lose hope. If this is your dream to be a nurse think about your "why". Why is nursing important to you? If you are driven to help people, clean bodily fluids, and work horrible hours, then dust yourself off and hit it again. You can do it!

The promised follow up emails came yesterday. A lot of paperwork to review and sign for the 12/8 intensive, plus reviewing math for mostly dosage calculations/ conversions for the 12/12 N400 review.

Did any of the alternative get accepted into the program? I am still waiting..

I was told only one alternative was allowed in.
